New: Exploratory - southern Sudan
Having traveled and worked in southern Sudan in the 70's, the area offered some of the most exotic and unspoiled tribes in Africa. After decades of civil war and tribal conflicts, the south is once again open, and although war has changed it's character, so much remains the same. Lost Frontiers is offering an exploratory trip into the south that will visit the cattle camps of the Dinka, the tribal lands of the Shiluk and possibly the high Imatong Mountains. The departure is still in the planning stage, but an old friend who leads trips there for Angela Fisher and Carole Beckwith as well as for National Geographic is preparing our custom itinerary for later in the spring.
